After Catching Reporter in a Lie, Sarah Schools the Room on Why the American People Don’t Trust the Media

Everyone’s favorite press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders held a press briefing today where she faced harsh questions from reporters determined to make President Trump look foolish. Too bad for them they always fail.

There were numerous time-wasting questions about the upcoming meeting between President Trump and North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un, despite Sarah not having a crystal ball to tell her what is going to happen at the meeting.

One reporter brought up the issue of Trump pushing gun legislation through Congress and trips all over himself when he gets caught in a lie.

“The President, during his campaign, said ‘nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it’ but it sounds like now you are saying that because certain things that he supports does not have support in Congress that he is only going to push forward on things that are already –“

Sarah interrupts him right there and does what she does best.

“That is not what I said. You guys continue to misunderstand and misrepresent what I’m saying.”

These reporters are seasoned veterans in politics and should understand exactly how legislation works. They should also understand that it isn’t as easy as some people think to get support for legislation at a national level.

“I’m saying that the president is pushing forward on things we know have broadbase support that we can immediately get done. But at the same time, we are looking at the best way forward to push these other things through.  … We actually have to follow a process and the president is going to look at the best path forward on a number of issues that have been outlined.”

President Trump is not going to waste time and taxpayer money to try and push through legislation that he already knows will not pass. Do you support this? Let us know in the Facebook comments!
